Self Pay Only

At InnerPiece Psychotherapy & Trauma Counseling, I prioritize your well-being and strive to provide the highest quality of care. That's why my services are self-pay only, and I do not bill insurance companies. I believe that choosing self-pay offers several important benefits, although I want to be transparent that reimbursement from your insurance company is not guaranteed.

When you opt for self-pay, you gain greater control over your therapeutic journey. By not involving insurance companies, you can maintain a higher level of privacy and confidentiality. You have the freedom to explore the depths of your emotions and experiences without the concern of information being shared beyond the therapeutic space.

Another advantage of self-pay is the flexibility it offers. Insurance coverage often comes with limitations, such as predetermined session limits or specific treatment modalities. By choosing self-pay, you have the freedom to personalize your therapeutic experience based on your unique needs and preferences. This allows for a more tailored and effective approach to healing and growth.

I understand the importance of financial transparency. I provide detailed receipts for each session, which can be used for potential reimbursement or for tax purposes. While I cannot guarantee reimbursement, I strive to offer the necessary documentation to support your efforts in seeking reimbursement from your insurance provider.

By choosing self-pay, you are investing in yourself and your well-being. You are making a commitment to your personal growth and healing, and I am dedicated to providing you with the highest level of care and support on your journey.

Benefits of Self Pay

1. Enhanced Privacy: By not involving your insurance company, we can ensure a higher level of privacy and confidentiality. Your therapy sessions and the nature of your treatment will remain solely between you and your therapist, allowing you to feel more comfortable and secure in sharing your experiences.

2. Greater Control and Flexibility: Choosing not to accept insurance gives you more control over your therapy experience. You have the freedom to select the therapist you feel most comfortable with, and together, you can determine the frequency and duration of your sessions without the limitations imposed by insurance.

3. Avoiding Diagnostic Labels: Some individuals prefer to avoid having a diagnostic label attached to their medical records or insurance claims. By not involving insurance, we can minimize the risk of having a mental health diagnosis on your record, which may be important for personal or professional reasons.

4. Tailored Treatment Plans: Without the constraints imposed by insurance providers, our therapists have the freedom to design personalized treatment plans specific to your needs. This allows for more effective and targeted therapy, as our therapists can utilize a variety of specialized techniques that may not be covered by insurance.

5. Alternative Therapies: By not being restricted by insurance coverage, we can explore a wider range of therapeutic modalities and interventions. This means you have the opportunity to try innovative approaches that could be highly beneficial for trauma healing, such as EMDR, somatic experiencing, or art therapy, which may not always be covered by insurance.

At InnerPiece Psychotherapy & Trauma Counseling, I prioritize your well-being and strive to provide the highest level of care. By not accepting insurance benefits for Extended Sessions and Intensives, I can offer you enhanced privacy, greater control and flexibility, personalized treatment plans, and access to a variety of alternative therapies. Your healing journey is unique, and I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
